Pediatric Physical Therapy

With an on-site physical therapy clinic, our pediatric physical therapy program utilizes a wide range of tools, the natural environment of the barn, and grounds to give unique opportunities for children to work toward their goals. When appropriate, physical therapy sessions may incorporate the dynamic platform of equine movement as one tool to address issues with mobility, range of motion, balance, coordination and strength.

Services are provided by Leslie Hayden, P.T., a licensed physical therapist with 35 years of pediatric clinical experience. Leslie is an American Hippotherapy Certification Board (AHCB) Certified Therapist with specialized training in incorporating the use of equine movement as part of a patient’s integrated plan of care. She is a member of AHA Inc. and PATH Intl.
